The Plan

Welcome to our travel blog!

So a little background on what this website is all about. We got married on Saturday 6 April 2013 in Pittwater, Sydney. An amazing day – see the wedding page for some of our favourite pics!

One week later, after leaving our jobs, moving out of our apartment in Sydney, we packed our backpacks and set off on our honeymoon – 9 months backpacking around the world – a trip of a lifetime! Our trip started with one week of luxury, before we got into the backpacker mode and headed off to explore South-East Asia properly, followed by Africa, Europe, Middle-East and South America.

Here are some of our favourite photographs (in no particular order) from the travels.

The continent pages have been added as we travel, we now have pages for each continent we are visiting; Asia, Europe, Africa, The Middle East and South America where you can click a link into each country we visit.

We are writing this blog to keep a brief record (mainly photographs) of the backpacking adventures we experience and amazing people we meet along the way, and also for those who are interested in reading about the travels and seeing our photographs. Please feel free to leave comments or contact us through the blog.

We hope you enjoy looking through the pages and photos as much as we do!

Ian and Danielle xx
